  • Tom McQuillen has over 25 years of experience designing buildings for public and private clients. He has completed projects ranging in scale from complex urban buildings and college campuses to small clinics and libraries. Tom is the Principal in Charge on all projects.

    Tom studied architecture as an undergraduate at Yale College and received a Masters Degree in Architecture from Harvard University. He is licensed in the State of Arizona and has an NCAARB certification for all 50 states. Tom is a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of the American Institute of Architects, Leading Age and the American Society of Healthcare Engineers.

  • Bill Gideon is responsible for the coordination and production of high-quality drawings and project documentation. He performs detailed quality assurance reviews for all projects.

    Bill earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the College of Architecture, University of Arizona and his Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He brings over 30 years of experience in a variety of projects, including medical office buildings, retail, municipal and educational facilities. Bill has managed smaller projects, as well as larger projects with budgets of over $50 million. He is responsible for  producing construction documents, coordinating consultant and architectural disciplines, reviewing shop drawings and overseeing construction administration.

  • As a project manager, Liz Farkas is typically involved in all phases of a project, from initial conception through completion. She is responsible for client communication, consultant coordination, drawing and documentation, and assistance through construction administration. Liz has experience with many project types including residential, commercial and institutional.

    Liz holds a Master in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from the University of Houston. She is a registered Architect in Arizona and holds an NCARB certificate. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional and is responsible for implementing LEED requirements and other energy efficiency measures.

  • As a project manager, Minette Mahoney is responsible for client communication, consultant coordination, drawing and documentation, and assistance through construction administration. Minette's experience has been in commercial, institutional and residential project types.

    Minette earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee.

  • Matthew is responsible for exploration of design through BIM modeling and production of high quality project documentation generated in Revit.

    Matthew has over 10 years experience in the architecture, fabrication and construction industries. Matthew has been involved in various projects from high end custom residential to professional office to health care as a project manager, coordinating consultant information, producing construction documents and construction administration. Matthew is a graduate of University of Arizona with a Bachelor in Architecture from the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture.

  • Isaiah Unruh is an architect-in-training with over a year of architecture experience. He is responsible for drafting high-quality construction documents, renderings and 3d models. He has been involved in all phases of a project including code research and consultant coordination.

    Isaiah is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering.

  • Donna Capanna has been with LRD since 2006 and serves as the firm's Construction Administrator. Donna manages all construction related submittals, requests for information, payment applications, and closeout procedures. She oversees preparation and formatting of all specifications and bid documents, and has experience with Housing and Urban Development, Veterans Administration and many municipal bid document standards.

    Donna also coordinates distribution of all construction documents, bid forms, meeting records and contract agreements. She is a valuable addition to each of our projects and a great resource for our clients.

  • Linda Bahrami is an accounting professional with 15 years of experience. She has worked in a variety of industries, from medical office and manufacturing to non-profit organizations. Linda loves learning about architecture and watching LRD partner with their clients on amazing projects.

  • Clare Johnston is responsible for marketing, business development and technology infrastructure at Lizard Rock Designs. She has experience in program planning and development, website marketing and development, traditional advertising and strategic planning.

    Clare received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver, which focused on administration, management and program development.
